Motion Facts and Information

  1. To relieve motion sickness or sea sickness always sit in the front of a vehicle and look out the front window only.

  3. If you feel nauseous and about to succumb, please avoid the entry and exit areas of the boat. Hang your head over the gunwales and avoid "chumming" in areas other divers must use.

  4. Ginger is a natural preventative for motion sickness, sea sickness or altitude sickness. It soothes a queasy stomach and has no side effects. You can get it in pill form, tablets or powder, as ginger root in many herb and health food stores, or as pickled ginger slices at Japanese food marts and even at many Japanese restaurants. Most serve it pickled with sushi, hand rolls, and other of their dishes.

  5. Trip ease may be taken with any other medication. Like other homeopathic remedies, trip ease is most effective when taken separately from food and drink, but has been specially formulated so that it may if necessary be taken in association with food and/or drink, i.e. coffee.

  6. To relieve motion sickness or sea sickness keep each other occupied and do not think about getting sick.

  7. Motion sickness causes reduced blood flow and this in turn reduces the body temperature making the sufferer feel cold and clammy.
